I am an investigator, lover of life and beauty, and a foodie. Having grown up on the SAD diet (standard American diet), I felt an instinctual hunger for something more. As I entered young adulthood, I was looking for answers. I began an investigation into where food comes from that continues to this day.

Putting my own hands to the process of growing food brought me to my first encounters with seeds. And thus began a life-long love affair with these miniature miracles.

Fun Story: Seed Blossoms began when I was designing and teaching a “Farm Camp” program for kids. In our seed module, we did the classic seed mosaic craft project with white glue and cardboard. As we were all experimenting with seed compositions, I discovered something remarkable. I arranged corn seeds concentrically around a split pea, and to my delight, I saw I had created a flower. And thus, Seed Blossoms was born.
